Description The Job: The City of Show Low, Arizona, hub of the beautiful White Mountains of Northeastern Arizona, seeks a responsible individual to fill the position of Airport Manager. Requirements: Applicants must possess excellent customer service and people skills; have extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and local rules and regulations pertaining to airport management, safety, aircraft, aviation fueling, wildlife hazard management, security and aircraft operations; have a working knowledge of all airport systems (pavements, electrical systems, aviation fuel systems, heavy equipment, computerized equipment, lighting, storm water drainage, aircraft deicing, communication systems, and all aviation navigational systems). Applicant must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.

Requirements Qualifications: Successful applicant will have five years experience in airfield administration with at least two years management experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. BA in Business Administration, Aviation Administration or a related field; prefer possession of accreditation certification from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), or Certified Airport Executive (CAE) from the Southwest Chapter of AAAE.
