Description Primary Duties: • The Manager directs, supervises and manages the activities of the Maintenance Department which includes the Zone Inspection, Pavement Management/Facilities/Fleet Administration, Cloverdale and Adams Maintenance Sections. • The Manager is responsible for the supervision over subordinates, prepares/manages departmental budget, oversees/reviews the work of subordinates to insure conformance with established goals, policies and procedures.

Requirements Qualifications: • The successful candidate must have strong management skills and experience in road, street, drainage and traffic facilities and their construction, maintenance and repair criteria, and construction and maintenance equipment and equipment operation. • Knowledge and experience is required in Management practices and procedures, Supervisory practices and techniques, Project planning and project management principles and practices, Contract management and administration, and Accounting and financial management. • Extensive managerial or supervisory work experience, plus a background in the civil engineering principles involved in roadway construction and repair is required. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. • OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acceptable.
